Now I know this wouldnt be valuable for everybody but I have seen a number of other people talking about this online. And please, before you cry 'Just play the desktop version!' I do, but I also own PE and for me its pretty unplayable with touch. I miss my desktop controls too much. I have PE installed on my tablet, and I own a very sweet bluetooth keyboard and mouse that goes everywhere with it.
I understand that something like this would take time and resources for development and implementation but I honestly can not see a downside to having more options available for players and playability. I know it couldnt possibly be a high priority in comparison to other issues but it is a suggestion that would for me personally make minecraft a significantly larger portion of my daily routine. For me it would be the ability to play the game on my lunch break at work, or when I am at a relatives house, or riding passanger on a road trip. Any time Im away from home I would be able to have the desktop experience and enjoyment. And the only thing necessary for this is simply the ability to use desktop controls via the bluetooth keyboard and mouse that goes everywhere with my tablet (same little pouch that contains a charger, stand and small speakers).
Quote from um, how is this possible? First off, the screen is soo small, second off, there is not keyboard or mouse port. If it was like that, then support, but it isnt so no support because it is impossible. A) Bluetooth keyboards and mice are wireless, therefore they dont need a port. B.) An OTG cable actually gives a tablet USB ports for non bluetooth keyboard mouse.
Prior to this term, as the engine originated with Pocket Edition, this entire product family was referred to as 'Pocket Edition', 'MCPE', or 'Pocket/Windows 10 Edition'. Are made either via keyboard and mouse, touchscreen or controller. Minecraft is also usually in the top 10 and regularly #1 in the App Store's and Google.
C) Android devices (tablets AND phones) officially support both keyboards and mice in the operating systems. Ipads and iphones support keyboards only.
D) You can already use a mouse on an android device for mining but you have to click and drag for camera control which is cumbersome. E) you can use third party software to emulate WASD movement using a keyboard already but it is emulating touches which is not very smooth, not too bad but the movement controls currently in use in PE cause you to jump every time you begin to move which is annoying. F) the screen size issue is not really an issue, you would have actually MORE screen real estate then what is currently available because you would do away with the on screen controls DPAD. TL:DR Not only is it possible, but currently can be done with emulation, but its far from playably streamlined. Also you get more screen realistate out of the game regardless of device. Well, not every one wants to buy a keyboard and not every one knows how to use bluetooth. All of the stuff you have to set up for this is just way to hard. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAND HELD GAME! Hand held games arent ment to be played on keyboards and mice. Quote from well, not every one wants to buy a keyboard and not every one knows how to use bluetooth. Hand held games arent ment to be played on keyboards and mice. The very first line in my original suggestion was 'I know this wouldnt be for everybody' the second line was 'Ive already seen a lot of people requesting this around the internet' Also, I work in electronic retail, i can confidently say that using bluetooth is NOT hard. Most people including old people figure it out pretty easily when shown how to pair something just once. Its really not hard.
ALLthe things I have set up? MANY tablet cases these days have bluetooth keyboards built into them.
Intuit is to embed the necessary parts of Rosetta in Quicken 2007 to get it to run on Lion. Simply porting this code over to Intel is not possible and would require a significant amount of work. Patzer explained that the PowerPC codebase for Quicken For Mac 2007 was started decades ago and has many intricacies -- including its own custom-built database engine -- that are very much PowerPC specific. So much so that Intuit decided to focus those resources on developing an entirely new application, Quicken Essentials for Mac.But what of Rosetta and Quicken 2007 and OS X Lion? The project has been underway for the past few months, with Intuit working to possibly embed specific Rosetta libraries into Quicken For Mac 2007 to get it to run.
