This one adapter would meet all my needs! And I'd need an adapter anyway for DisplayPort alone, so this is zero added cable clutter. Most people won't need it, but I think I will.
People who DO need tons of cables hanging off their portable. Have many other fine Macs to choose from. It's almost as though Apple offers options for different needs/wants. You have to buy a USB hub on top of this. So you're looking at spending at least an additional $100 to make your new MacBook useful. You need two or more corded USB devices hooked up to make a laptop 'useful'? Or it's useless?
That statement sounds a little broad in this day and age. I'd recommend a different MacBook for you, though. I don't think I've connected two USB devices to my Air at the same time in about 2 years. Maybe I just have too much wireless.
