Pros I liked the innate layout yammer brings to the business world to the digital age. If you're familiar with newsfeed type social media sites (like Facebook and LinkedIn), Yammer will seem familiar the first time you use it. Yammer has helped modernize business communication. Cons While Yammer is innovative for business communication, it doesn't really bring anything that's truly novel. As I previously mentioned, the layout and feel of yammer is very similar to popular social media sites. Pretty good collaboration tool Yammer's value is felt the more its used by teams. If leadership doesn't consistently follow up to ensure employees are using it Yammer will be disappointing.
Pros My company used Yammer to help employees collaborate better. Our older employees didn't make much use of the system but the potential of Yammer is great for engaged employees. The social nature of the product matches up well with our millennial workforce.

Its essentially a business version of Facebook. Making work groups to streamline communication and give shout outs is easy and fun. Cons If you workforce isn't active on social media or appreciate those means of communication it might be a tough sell to get them on this system.
Either way, implementing Yammer will take a consistent effort in campaigning for its usefulness if your workplace isn't used to this type of system. Yammer could also do better by allowing for more customization or branding by the employer to make it seem like an internal system. I have no complaints about the software itself.
Yammer Review - 12/14/18 Overall, Yammer has been a great tool for our workplace. It has eliminated much of the email build-up in our inboxes, and serves as a great 'permanent' online space for forms and the like.
On the Mac with the QuickBooks Server (likely Office Mac), open QuickBooks and open your company file. QuickBooks logs you out and then back in as Administrator. It also starts the QuickBooks Server app so it can share the company file over your network. Choose File > Enable Multiuser Mode. Can quickbooks for mac be installed on 2 computers but same user.
Pros I work for a very large organization (500+ employees) and Yammer has greatly improved our ability to collaborate across divisions and networks. There is more transparency into what is happening in other parts of the organization. Cons It is not as customizable as I would like. It would be nice to have more ability to organize the left-hand groups display. Don't really know how to classify Yammer. Pros - It was fairly easy to join our company's network, and it integrates with our existing Office/Outlook subscriptions and accounts. That's about all I can say positive about the platform.
Cons - It honestly feels like Microsoft has completely abandoned Yammer in favour of Teams, and they're doing so to compete with collaboration platforms like Monday, Facebook @ Work, etc. Unfortunately it's not a realm that they've figured out with Yammer, maybe they'll have better luck with Teams. Yammer Pros Yammer has provided a relatively intuitive platform for my institution. While it can't necessarily do everything i need from a project management standpoint, it provides a helpful communication tool for collaboration, which is a constant need in my environment. The free account provides an array of features that i've been quite happy with, and the ability to move myself and others off of email for regular communications has probably been the greatest benefit. Cons Yammer is relatively good at communication and is easy to use, but i'm not sure it is effective enough in this realm to encourage all employees to move away from email-first communications.
Other platforms seem to be a bit better at this, and it may be another example of Microsoft's choice to go with breadth rather than depth. Social Media for Workplaces Pros I love yammer. My company uses Yammer to help employees stay connected and informed.
