First, thanks Gord for the assistance. Second, the name of the add-in is Analysis ToolPak.
I believed it was from Microsoft. And it is covered in Help. But the section in Help refers to other items, such as a Data Analysis Group, that are not in Help.
Annoying but not your problem. I have sent a nasty gram to Microsoft about it. Third, one of my problems with Excel 2007 is that I have not found an icon for Tools.
It may be there somewhere, but I have not found it as yet. Nor have I found how to activate it in Help. Quite annoying, but maybe it represents my incompetence, something my wife stresses frequently. Fourth, and most mysterious, NOW there is a Data Analysis Tab under the Data Tab. Perhaps, I needed to reboot before it appeared because it was not there yesterday.
Again thanks for the help. PS The add-in is pretty slick. Gord Thanks again for the help. Analysis Toolpak seems to need to be configured or something in Excel 2007 before it is available. (Maybe because I started by downloading a trial version and then buying it.) Anyway, it is not hard to do. I also checked out the page on the web site you recommended. It basically tells you where to find commands in Excel 2007 that you may have used in earlier versions of Excel.
