Go for Gmail is the best and most powerful Gmail desktop client. It's perfect for quickly accessing your Gmail account without ever needing to open a web browser. The app is fully feature packed and built for speed and ease of use. Sticklen, I love this app. I have used Apple Mail for my mail client well forever.
But with Sierra I am having more and more trouble with mail. I am sure the Apple Mail problems will get worked out, but I went to try GO for GMAIL because I am so frustrated with Apple Mail currently.
My business mail is all on GMAIL, but I have a personal email with some volume on Apple Mail. Of course, Apple Mail can access different types of mail accounts, including iCLOUD-based email and Google-based email. I have found it up to now to be functional. But GO for GMAIL Is soooooo much faster, clearner, than Apple Mail that I am thinking seriously of looking to find a way to do all my email via this app. Two things stopping me: 1) not sure if there is an iOS app that is “like” this app (from the same company would be nice 2) (the biggie) I need this app to be able to connect to iCloud as well as Google. Might be a stretch to get Apple to approve that through the App Store Then again, Apple would themselves (and their loyal customers) a GoodThing if they would just buy the company that does GO for GMAIL, disassemble and understand it, then redo it from the ground up to handle multiple email server types.
(Unless the “company” is Google ) I like this app very much just wish that it could accept email feeds from the iCloud servers. Sticklen, I love this app.

Midshipman1321, Great, just one thing I love using the Go for Gmail app because I have to stay on top of my emails all the time and it’s better to have a temporary window that can pop up when you need it versus having it always open in the browser tab.
